ಶಿಶುನಾಳ ಶರೀಫರ ಸಮಾಧಿಯ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದ ಪ್ರಣತಿಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ

It was a dream come true for Pranathi foundation when on March 25th, Pranathi Raghavendra and his team performed in front of the Samadhi of great Sufi Santa, shri. Shishunaala Shariff at Shishunaala Giri..Haveri.

class=”textexposedshow”>Pranathi Raghavendra sung along with his team the rare songs of Sharif which was composed by him and also the compostion of his guru Dr. C Ashwath. They performed for a packed audiences of more than 7000 music lovers of Shisunaala and neighboring places.

The very talented and students of SRI. Pranathi Raghavendra, smt.SwathiRao, kum. RaghaviKoujalgi, Sri. SupreethKashyap, Sri. Madhav Joshi, Sri. AravindRao. S.R performed with SRI. Pranathi Raghavendra.

A documentary film on life and works of Shishunaala Shariff has also been taken up by Pranathi foundation.

ಮಾರ್ಚ್೨೫ ,ಪ್ರಣತಿಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದಕನಸುನನಸಾದದಿನ. ಅಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡು ಕಂಡ ಮಹಾನ್ಸೂಫಿಸಂತ ಶ್ರೀ ಶಿಶು ನಾಳ ಶರೀಫರ ಗದ್ದುಗೆಯ ಮುಂದೆಯೆ ಅವರ ಅಪರೂಪದ ತತ್ತ್ವಪದಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಪ್ರಣತಿ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಂಚಿನ ಕಂಠಸಿರಿಯಿಂದ ಅಪಾರಜನ ಸಮೂಹದ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಡಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಡಿನ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಯುವಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಣತಿ ರಾಘವೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರ ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸ್ವಾತಿರಾವ್, ಕುಮಾರಿ ರಾಘವಿ, ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಪ್ರೀತ್ಕಶ್ಯಪ್, ಶ್ರೀಮಾಧವ ಜೋಶಿ ಹಾಗು ಶ್ರೀಅರವಿಂದರಾವ್ಧ್ವನಿಗೂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂತಶಿಶುನಾಳಶರೀಫರಕಾರ್ಯ, ಜೀವನದಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆಚಾಲನೆಯಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಪ್ರಣತಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನದ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ. ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಪ್ರಭಎಸ್.ಆರ್.,  ಸಹಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ಉಡುಪ,  ಶ್ರೀಹನುಮಂತರಾವ್ಕೌಜಲಗಿ,  ಶ್ರೀಸು.ಕೃಷ್ಣಮೂರ್ತಿ, ಶ್ರೀಸಂತೋಷ ಆಲದಕಟ್ಟಿ,  ಶ್ರೀಬಸವರಾಜಅರಳಿ,  ಚಿನ್ನುರಾಗಿ. ಶ್ರೀಶರೀಫ ಶಿವಯೋಗೀಶ್ವರ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುಗೋವಿಂದರ ಶಿವಯೋಗೀಶ್ವರ ಪಂಚಾಗ್ನಿಮಠ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ ವಂದಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

About Shishunala Sharif

Santa ShishunalaSharifa (Kannada: ಸಂತಶಿಶುನಾಳಶರೀಫ, 1819–1889) was a saint poet, philosopher and social reformer from the state of Karnataka in India. His compositions of tatvapada (moral poems) are in Kannada language. Sharifa is recognised as the first Muslim poet in Kannada literature.

Santa ShishunalaSharifa was born on 7 March 1819 in Shishuvinahala, a village in Shiggaontaluk (in Haveri district), Karnataka.

GovindaBhatta, a Brahmin, was famous in the region as an unconventional Master was Sharif’s guru.

One day, GovindaBhatta came to Shishuvinahala, and Sharifa’s father found Him seated under a tree. He asked Him to accept His son as disciple. In front of the father, GovindaBhatta called the young boy and said, “Hey Sharifa, who is your father?” The villagers laughed, but were shocked when the boy brashly said, “What kind of question are you asking? Your father and mine are the same!”.GovindaBhatta laughed, patted the boy on the back and said, “Excellent, Sharifa! The land is fertile, the seed will sprout well. O Imam, leave Him to my care! From today, He is my son!”

Shishunala Sharifa was known to compose poems as per the situation and sing them to spread the message. Though he never wrote down his compositions, by word of mouth many of them have been passed down to future generations.
