Pranathi Pratishtaana is a dream project initiated by Sri. S.R Raghavendra Rao, Popularly known as Pranathi Raghavendra, 25 years ago with the sole objective of showcasing the richness and expanse of Kannada Literature and its culture. We have a formidable cultural heritage and amazing Literature. Many of us are unaware of our own cultural grandeur.
At Pranathi, we apply innovative approach to create & sustain an immense interest and reading habit among our people that enables them to understand & appreciate the nuances of Kannada language & culture.
Pranathi foundation was born out of an intense passion to create interest in our people about our grand Kannada culture that has been sadly relegated to the background today due to widespread westernization. In addition our busy schedules and limited leisure hours have made it difficult for us to read and enjoy unique literary pearls!! Leave aside comprehensive novels / books, we have even let go of the pleasure of reading Kannada newspaper or writing a letter in simple Kannada.
